Join Mahjong in the Sun for a fun summer kickoff party as we bring together the Ponte Vedra + Jacksonville mahjong community for an evening of Mahjong, mingling, and connection at The Block Jax!
Whether you're already registered for the Bambird Scramble, an experienced mahjong player looking to meet new people, or someone curious about learning mahjong for the first time — this event is for you.
We’ll be taking over the mezzanine at The Block Jax for a relaxed social evening featuring:
• Open Mahjong Play
• Meet & Mingle with the Mahjong in the Sun team
• Learn more about our Mahjong 101 Experiences, events, and community
• Information about the Bambird Scramble Summer League
• Food, drinks, and social fun at one of Jacksonville’s favorite gathering spots
This is a FREE event, but space is limited and advance registration is required to reserve your seat.

If you are registered for the Bambird Scramble, reserve your seat and we will coordinate with you directly to help schedule your match time at The Block Jax.
Please note: Any player participating at the Bambird Scramble tables must be officially registered for the Bambird Scramble.
