Happening Nationwide at The Picklr Locations! The Picklr Heritage Cup is a throwback event hosted on National Pickleball Day, August 8, to celebrate the sport’s origins and the 60th anniversary of pickleball.

Tournament Details:

All participants will compete in this unique event using wood paddles to recreate a classic pickleball experience for players of all skill levels. This is your chance to rally like it’s 1965, so come dressed in your best 60’s retro attire.

Cost:
FREE to all members and non-members

 

Tournament Format & Details:

  • Format: Traditional partner pool play leading into a single-elimination bracket.

  • Skill Divisions: Throwing it back – beginner, intermediate, and advanced

  • Age Requirement: 8+ (grouped by skill level).

Pool Play:

  • Each team plays every team in their pool once.

  • Round Robin Option for Seeding: If there are six or fewer teams in a division, all teams will compete in a single pool.

  • Sign-ups will be capped based on your club’s court capacity per division.

  • Depending on the number of pools and teams in each division, the top team(s) from each pool will advance to a single-elimination bracket.

Scoring:

  • Games are played to 11 points.

  • Win by 2, capped at 13 (except in medal matches, which have no cap).
